As an independent wedding officiant in the Netherlands, I’ll create a ceremony that’s truly yours. No standard scripts — just a tailor-made story that fits perfectly, from start to finish.
I bring structure and calm to the preparation, so you can look forward to your day with confidence. During the ceremony, there’s space for spontaneity, humor, energy — and maybe even a happy tear. You can relax, let go of the nerves, and enjoy every second of a moment that feels just right.
How It Works
Every couple and every story is unique. Still, I follow a clear process so you know exactly what to expect and can enjoy the journey to your big day stress-free.
Step 1 – Getting to Know Each Other
We start with an informal, no-obligation introduction — at your home, a cozy spot nearby or online.
No preparation needed: it’s all about getting to know each other and seeing if there’s a connection. I’ll share how I work and answer your questions. If it feels right, we’ll take the next step together!
Step 2 – The Formalities
Yes, I get to be part of your wedding! We’ll arrange the paperwork and, if you’re having a legal wedding, I’ll coordinate with your local municipality. Some things need to be organized months ahead — I’ll guide you through everything, so you don’t have to worry.
Step 3 – Your Story
This is where the magic begins. I want to hear your story — how you met, what makes your bond unique, and which people and moments shaped your journey together.
We’ll talk about your wishes for the ceremony: the mood, special moments, witnesses, and any children you’d like to involve. I’ll also send you a few short questions separately to capture all the small personal details that make your story truly yours.
Including Children
Would you like to involve your own children, or maybe nieces, nephews, or friends’ kids? Wonderful! Together, we’ll find meaningful ways for them to play a role so they really feel part of the ceremony. It’s a beautiful way to make the moment even more personal for everyone.
Step 4 – Preparation
While you focus on the rest of your wedding planning, I’ll write your personalized ceremony speech. About one to two weeks before the wedding, we’ll have a quick call or video chat to review the final details.
The speech itself remains a surprise — you’ll hear it for the first time during your ceremony!
Step 5 – The Big Day
On your wedding day, I’ll arrive early to coordinate with your venue, planner, or master of ceremonies. I’ll check in with you, put on a fitting outfit, and make sure the ceremony flows smoothly — relaxed, heartfelt, and completely you.

Symbolic Wedding Ceremony
Have you already had your legal wedding, or is it planned at the town hall soon, but you still want a beautiful, personal ceremony to celebrate your love with all your friends and family? Wonderful!
I’ll create a complete, meaningful ceremony for you, including (if you wish) a symbolic certificate and even a children’s certificate for your little ones to sign.
Or perhaps you are having your legal wedding at the municipality but want to place more focus on your personal story, involving your loved ones in a special way?
As a ceremony speaker, I can collaborate with the municipal wedding officiant (BABS) to shape and conduct your ceremony together: I tell your story, while the wedding officiant handles the official part.
Legal Wedding Ceremony
Would you like everything mentioned above and for me to officially marry you? I’d love to!
In that case, I’ll need to be officially appointed and sworn in for one day by the municipality where you’re getting married.
The options and costs vary per municipality and are usually listed on their website. I’m happy to help you look into and arrange this.
VAT does not apply. Prices exclude any municipal fees or one-time appointment costs (if applicable). I’ll gladly check these details for you. Travel costs: €0.30 per km (round trip) from Pijnacker.

Hi, I’m Ingrid — born and raised in Pijnacker, where I still live happily today.
Sports have always been a big part of my life; for years I played handball with great enthusiasm (and still do recreationally). In 2012, somewhere between all the matches and fun, I met my husband.
He proposed in 2019, and a year later — right in the middle of the pandemic — we got married. Our wedding was small and intimate, in my parents’ backyard, full of humor, emotion, and improvisation. That feeling of “this is us” is exactly what I want every couple to experience.
I’m a proud mom of a son (2020) and a daughter (2023), and I also work in Learning & Development, currently as a Program Manager Talent Development at TNO. Still, the dream of becoming a wedding officiant never faded — and in 2025, I finally followed my heart.
What defines me? A mix of structure and spontaneity. I love clarity and preparation, but I also bring humor, warmth, and energy. That balance creates ceremonies that are detailed and personal, but never stiff.
In my free time, I enjoy sewing — creating something beautiful that fits perfectly, with care and attention to detail. That’s also what I do with a ceremony: craft something that truly fits you.
